TRIPS BY FOOT
In all directions from La Cerreta there are pathways that pass
through the woods that allow a total immersion in an ecosystem
still intact, in an area of rivers, in wild Mediterranean woods & chestnut
forests. Many species of orchids, heather, thyme, wild fruit,
porcupines, several types of owls, wild boar, deer, squirrels,
hedgehogs, badgers, partridges, robins…..& very few
humans.
HOLIDAYS ON BICYCLES
The low rainfall & mild climate allow bicycling at all
times of the year. Different environments to ride through,
by road bikes or mountain bikes, following routes of varying
length & difficulty.
La Cerreta has mountain bikes to hire, technical assistance & a
guide for groups.
HORSE RIDING TRIPS
Horse riding excursions are on offer any day of the year.
We follow the old mule tracks that traverse the forested
hills,
rivers, valley & villages. La Cerreta is ideally placed
both for the sea & for inland Tuscany. We can help you
discover the real, hidden Tuscany, & experience the emotion
